GET NICE
Child of the 80’s. Weirdo in the 90’s. Dad in the 00’s. Partner in the 10’s. I love my family, my dog, and my camera. I love exploring a city as much as a hiking trail. I choose good hash, good wine, and great food to keep me going.
First camera at age 9, a Yashica FX-2. I have been chasing light and telling stories with images ever since. I grew up learning my craft in suburban Ohio in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I am a proud garduate of the Fort Hayes Metro Education Center for the Visual and Performing Arts. After learning all I could there, I went on to study and refine my technical craft at the now defunct yet legendary Ohio Institute of Photography. This was back in the day when having OIP on your resume ment something…
After two years there, and almost graduating, I answered the call of the open road and headed to Atlanta. I set off to find my fame and fortune in the bubbling and creative electronic music and club culture. That time, along with the work I was doing then, is pretty blurry.
From there I found myself working in streetware, alcohol, cannabis doing brand building, brand marketing, and sales. I have photographed in London, Berlin, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Stockholm, and just about everywhere in between.
I live in South Philadelphia. I will live in Maine….and maybe Vietnam.
